I would assume that it is possible to use the H variety albeit with an appropriate recipe. So, if the load says 45.0 grains of IMR 4350, what would be the corresponding H load? I am in the middle of load workup for my 260 now and may just give 4451 a try there too. But, to your original post, I don't think you will find 4451 any cleaner burning than H4350.
